Canopy

• Dust your Sunbrella® Canvas canopy regularly with a soft-bristle brush to remove dirt and debris.
• For cleaning, use a solution of mild soap and warm water. Apply with a soft-bristle brush and rinse thoroughly with clean water.
• For stubborn stains, spray the area lightly with a solution of mild dish soap or laundry detergent mixed with water. Agitate gently with a sponge or soft-bristle brush, then rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry.
• For mold or mildew, clean with a solution of one part bleach to ten parts water. Apply with a spray bottle and agitate with a soft-bristle brush. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry.
• Always pre-test any cleaning solution on a hidden area of the canopy to check for color loss or compatibility.
• Avoid using harsh chemicals, bleach directly on the fabric, or high-pressure washers.
• Allow the canopy to fully dry before closing or storing.

Aluminum Pole & Ribs

• Dust the aluminum pole and ribs regularly with a clean, dry cloth to maintain the powder-coated finish.
• For cleaning, use mild soap, water, and a soft cloth; rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
• Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that may compromise the powder coating.

Steel Base

• Wipe the base regularly with a dry cloth to maintain its appearance.
• For cleaning, use mild soap, water, and a soft cloth; rinse and dry completely.
• Keep the base dry to prevent rust and maintain stability.

Hardware & Pulley System

• Periodically check stainless steel fasteners and the pulley system to ensure all components are functioning smoothly.
• Clean hardware with a soft cloth and mild soap solution; dry thoroughly.
• Ensure Kevlar rope remains clean and dry for optimal performance.
• Store the umbrella in a closed position during extended periods of non-use, heavy rain, or winter months.
• Close the umbrella during inclement weather to prevent damage and maintain stability.
